For the holiday season, the Albany Symphony brings to life Engelbert Humperdink's musical score for the Grimm Brother's fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel.  Join singers, chorus, dancers and orchestra for this presentation in the theater on the West Campus of Albany State University.  Enjoy this familiar tale as Hansel and Gretel, a young brother and sister, are kidnapped by an evil witch living in a house constructed of cake, confectionary, and candy.  The two children escape with their lives by outwitting the witch and rejoice as they reunite with their parents.
